Qualifications
· Minimum of five (5) years of Management of Construction Telecommunications built projects. Must be familiar with fiber, coax, aerial, underground and MDU construction.
Other Requirements
Must be local to the Seattle WA area or able to relocate.
Job Description
· Ability to multitask and work under tight timelines
· Able to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations
· Adept in understanding and reading construction documents
· Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.
· Ensures compliance and documentation of all field work performed by inhouse crews or subs for billing.
· Excellent managerial expertise and sound people skills
· Familiarity of fiber optic (splicing) and coax designs and principles
· Familiarity of Aerial, Underground and MDU Construction
· Handles challenges and deadlines well
· Must have verifiable references
· Oversees the Construction Operation in providing direction and oversight for contractors at the worksite
· Oversight of material warehousing and materials
· Prepared to work outside as well as an office setting
· Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Project, Excel, and Word.
· Responsible for entire project contract, planning and implementation
· Responsible for project job cost, maintenance and manpower scheduling
· Understanding of permit processes, locates and working with municipal agencies and utilities
· Other duties as assigned.
