Ability to identify and solve problems while supervising day to day activities. Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Willing to work long hours and when necessary to accomplish projects. Ability to instruct crews to safely use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 Lbs. Must be able to work under pressure and management time efficiently. Must be highly motivated. Must perform all duties with integrity. Must be able to pass background and drug test.

Ability to motivate team members and possess team building skills. 3-5 years minimum cable tv construction experience, Knowledge of coax and fiber splicing, Knowledge of underground procedures in a construction environment. Experience with using light to heavy construction equipment. Preferred (but not required) associates degree in construction management. Proficient in cable design maps and as-builts, basic knowledge of excel, general knowledge of inside and outside plant & CDL license

• Supervise in-house construction crews and subcontractor’s day to day activities
• Ensures implementation of safety and quality programs
• Issues work to in-house and subcontractor crews
• White line projects and call in dig safe tickets, track, and update
• Meet with our customers, city personnel, and local inspectors
• Process permits when required
• Reviews and approves material requests
• Reviews and approves pay sheets/invoices
• Plans, prepares, and issues projects
• All quality control functions
• Reviews and updates project schedules, cost estimates, and as-builts at completion
• Updates management of the status of work in progress, personnel availability, and project issues, as well as, update project data in
databases
• Responsible for delivering a project safely and on-time
• Details the movement of personnel and equipment to and from project sites.

MUST have full knowledge and HANDS ON experience on the following equipment: Directional bore machines, locating equipment, Mini
Excavators, Mud Vacuums, Air Compressors, jackhammers, Forklifts, Pneumatic Missiles, and other basic CABLE construction tools.

MUST have full knowledge and HANDS ON experience, pulling fiber, pulling coaxial both trunk and feeder, setting pedestal, vaults, hand
holes, placing power supplies, loading and unloading cable trailers, and any other basic CABLE construction tools including a shovel.

MUST have full knowledge and awareness of existing underground facilities, of the local and regional locating procedure's and/or
standard national recognized procedures

MUST be willing and capable of training new employees on all labor, equipment operation and safety function mentioned in this ad.

MUST be hands on in all training responsibilities, take part in all daily training activities, monitor all progress and take steps to keep new
employees engaged and motivated
