Qualifications
Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent. Must have reliable transportation to company yard or job site. Knowledge of cable construction and fiber optic terminology is a plus. Able to work in various climates (hot and cold, direct sun, dust, rain). Able to lift 75 lbs. Must be able to operate equipment and hand tools for digging trenches, hanging fiber to existing lines, and burying fiber. Able to operate a bucket truck and/or pull a trailer is desired.
Job Description
In-house aerial and underground crews being hired to install fiber drops from pole to pole and pole to pedestal for homes and businesses. Entry-level, intermediate, and advanced positions available. There is potential for the right candidates to grow and learn more about fiber optic cable construction, splicing, and testing. Must be able to communicate effectively, work individually and with a team, present self professionally and courtesy to all customers. Excellent customer service and company appearance are very important to our clients.
