Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Cable Field Services Supervisor in the Orange County, CA area. If you are an experienced in Video, Voice, and Data services, we want to speak with you about joining our team!

Responsibilities:

The Cable Field Services Supervisor directly supervises the Services Installation Technicians and is responsible for overall management to achieve customer satisfaction. The Supervisor must be able to successfully interpret company policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to our technicians.   The Cable Field Services Supervisor must be able to competently perform a variety of highly skilled technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of video, data, and voice systems. Individuals in this position are expected to exercise considerable initiative and judgment in planning and organizing work and take a leading role in carrying out the work process. Work may be subject to frequent demands caused by deadlines and heavy workloads. Responsibilities include motivating, instructing, directing, and checking work of his/her team.

Supervise a team of approximately 10-20 Service Technicians in the installation of video, data, and voice services. Manage and reduce team member overtime daily.
Participate in formal and on-the-job training for the Service Technicians on both installation and safety topics. Required to evaluate training methods to improve quality inefficiencies.
Must comply with project metric/objectives around Service Installation Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Maintain Teams Production to meet or exceed company standards.
Comply with company follow-up process and maintain good working relationship with in-house management.
Must acknowledge escalations within 2 hours and resolve before 48hrs.
Must reduce referral metric by allocating all jobs to follow up process.
Must comply with EOD Policy and procedure.
Required to provide a daily RCA report for Technicians noncompliance to customer operations group and Triage Partners CA Director of Field Services.
Required to report call outs, missed tech time, and other discrepancies on a daily basis.
Must acknowledge Customer Complaint within 24 hours of report. 
Perform quality field inspections.
Must perform safety and inventory truck inspection. 
Must comply with Triage Partners CA Safety Policy, OSHA Regulations, and California State Safety Requirements.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years previous cabling or telecom experience.
Two (2) years as a lead worker or in a supervisory capacity.
Considerable knowledge and experience of methods, tools, equipment, and materials used in the service installation, equipment testing, repair, and maintenance field.
Moderate to advanced knowledge and experience with the current PC operating systems including MS Office Suite and iOS.
Moderate hardware knowledge and experience with Laptops, Tablets (Android/iOS), Printers, Fax Machines, Scanners.


Skills and Abilities:
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle to travel to various work sites.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to perform under pressure.

Ability to work comfortably indoors/outdoors and in small spaces.
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to effectively use hand and various power tools.
