Job Description
Cable Installation Technician - $2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS for CERTIFIED TECHS
Triage Partners is celebrating 19 years in business as the National Premier Provider of fiber and cable installation services and software to the communications and supply chain industries. Our goal is to continually deliver a highly skilled, quality driven workforce to our globally recognized customers. We are currently seeking experienced, SCTE or CATV Technicians to join our team, especially those interested in advancement opportunities in Leadership, Training and Management. We are seeking certified Cable Technicians for residential installations in the following areas: Alisa Viejo, Dana Point, Ladera Ranch, Rancho Mission Viejo, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano. If you are an experienced certified Technician in Video, Voice, and Data services, we want to speak with you about joining our team!
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, disconnect, and upgrade video, data, and voice systems. Perform repairs and respond to service problems at customer homes. Ensure video, voice, and data services are operating efficiently to provide the best customer experience and satisfaction.
• Perform customer drop installations, reconnects, disconnects, additional outlets, and service upgrades/downgrades from the tap to the customer’s equipment following safe work practices and vendor requirements.
• Survey the installation route to determine the best location of the cable outlet(s).
• Troubleshoot the drop from the tap to the customer premises equipment as required to repair or restore the customer’s service.
• Complete associated paperwork and record each work order by the end of each business day to ensure all details of the work order are accounted for.
Requirements:
• Preferred: Minimum of two years of experience in service installation in the cable, satellite or residential alarm industry; but we will train the right candidate
• Clean Truck, SUV or Van with a 28 ft ladder/rack
• Clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to manage and utilize a 28 ft. ladder (75 lbs.); cannot be afraid of heights
• Use various hand tools (drill)
• Exceptional time management skills for daily route execution
• Quality conscious with a strong work ethic
• Customer service focused and team-oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, field supervisors and dispatch center
• Ability to work comfortably indoors/outdoors and in small spaces
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
