Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of industry experience with two years in a responsible supervisory position; Understanding of OSP/ISP construction, including all aspects of fiber and coax placement (directional drilling, rock saw, aerial, and engineering); understanding of OSP/ISP construction fundamentals, including requirement definition, resource scheduling, risk and change management; provide verifiable evidence of experience independently supervising crews.
Other Requirements
Be capable of working in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift including standing, walking, climbing, driving, bending/twisting, pulling/pushing, repetitive motion, and lifting for multiple hours; Demonstrate strong project management and customer service skills
Job Description
Turn Around Communications is seeking an experienced, full-time Construction Coordinator who will lead our teams at our Covina, CA location. Successful candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Strong project management skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office) preferred! Responsibilities:
• Oversee operations issued by supervisor and ensure that all telecommunication construction operations are completed in accordance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
• Provide trainings to employees on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe work environment
• Plan, assign, and oversee daily production tasks to laborers and crews.
• Assign, inspect, and track materials and vehicles needed for the daily operations.
• Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of construction needs.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Review and verify all daily production reports, material usage sheets, and confirm that all reports are submitted with the required documentation prior to approval (i.e. photos, signatures, receipts, etc.)
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism when meeting with customers
• Work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
