Job Description
Job Title: OSP Construction-Drill Operator
Reports To: OSP Manager
Job Purpose:
Operate HDD equipment for Telecommunications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Drive, set up, break down and perform general daily maintenance on the drill.
•Set up shots and perform various pipe configurations of underground utility installation.
•Drill near active utilities
•Avoid any marked utilities and implement all predrilling precautions to prevent utility strikes.
•Communicate with supervisors for job details.
•Delegate jobsite duties to the crew
•Able to stand for 10 plus hours a day.
•Able to lift 50+ pounds.
•Ability to work on-call, evenings and weekends as needed.
