Job Description
Job Title: HDD Locator
Reports To: OSP Manager
Job Purpose:
Operate Locating equipment in conjunction with HDD (Horizontal Directional Drill).
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Set up the pre-construction jobsite review and ID all utilities in the path of construction.
•Identify and expose all marked utilities in or around the path of construction.
•Must direct and steer the drill Operator in a safe manner without oversight.
•Install various pipe configurations of underground utility installation.
•Drive company vehicle to and from the jobsite
•Follow instructions from supervisor.
•Ability to work on-call, evenings and weekends as needed.
