Job Description
Utilities One Inc is looking for qualified UG & Aerial Construction Subcontractors Crews in Michigan.
If you are the principal of a contract company interested in Underground & Aerial Construction in this region, we may have an opportunity for you.
Project Description:
Installation of underground and aerial telecommunications, boring, trenching, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake pole removal, pole transfers, and set and install new underground cables;
- Provide the needed services for the construction, operation, and maintenance;
- Use knowledge of soil or rock conditions to determine which drill is appropriate for each job;
- Aerial cable placement and pole setting/transfers
- Fiber pulling, boring and splicing, new build
- Investigate company complaints and make repairs, complete jobs with quality and timeliness;
- Lift, carry and hold building material, tools and supplies;
- Read, understand and interpret blueprints;
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Underground and Aerial Construction experience;
- Knowledge of materials, methods, equipment, and tools involved in the underground and aerial cable installation.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
