Job Description
What you will do:
• Install aerial coax and fiber - both new build, replacement, and wreck out
• Operate equipment necessary for installation – aerial bucket trucks, lashers, and aerial hand tools.
• Drive truck and equipment to job sites.
• Haul and move equipment from project to project
• Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in an Aerial Tech role or Lineman School.
• At least 21 years of age and hold a current driver’s license; CDL endorsement a plus
• Must have prior Aerial Lineman experience hanging strand and fiber/cable, placing brackets on utility poles, and experience with node/radio replacement.
• Able to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Able to work outside in all elements
• Must be able to travel occasionally for extended periods of time (overnight and weekly stays required) 10-20% of time
• Able to pass all pre-employment checks, including substance screen, criminal background, and motor vehicle record checks.
• Must have an eye for detail
• Coax and/or Fiber Splicing is a plus
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, if necessary
