2 Years experience with installation of CatX, Coax, Fiber (not required, but a bonus). Inside plant work.
Other Requirements
Must have a good driving record and background checks are required by our customers.
Job Description
A network cabling technician helps the team with installation cabling Cat5/6, coax and fiber optic. With an opportunity for advancement as the company is growing rapidly.
**Signing bonus available after 90 days**
Required Skills / Experience with 2 years
Low voltage cabling pulling experience (Fiber / Coax / CatX / Etc.)
Pathway construction experience including conduit installation and coring
Experience with building and safety code requirements
Termination experience of Cat5/6 and coax (fiberoptic experience is a bonus)
Testing and troubleshooting of cable
Required Abilities
Works well with teams
Good driving record
Able to lift up to 75 lb., climb ladders, and work in elevated environments
Able to work weekends when required
Reliable transportation with 7:00 AM start time
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Maintains a safe work environment
