Job Description

Essential Duties:

• Read and interpret documents in the form of work orders, including (but not limited to) strand maps, PDF prints, Bentley prints, and any other CATV/fiber related document.
• Assist with material and crews for department.
• White line and determine routes for customer facilities.
• Meet with clients and client customers as requested.
• Resolve customer complaints and public relations issues as they arise.
• Conduct post-construction quality control assessments.
• Lead construction crews in the field, setting expectations to ensure company policies are followed.
• Ensuring safety rules and company policies are followed 100% of the time and the willingness to enforce the rules, per company guidelines.
• Manage workforce, including scheduled time-off, call-offs, etc. to ensure client commitments are met consistently.
• Act as the main point of contact between filed crews and the Project Manager.
• Ensure field personnel have the correct tools and equipment to complete tasks as assigned.
• Performs any other such duties as assigned.

Experience & Physical Demands:
A Field Supervisor’s experience should be primary field related. One would need to be well versed in common construction practices and familiar with construction specs and codes. One must be able to sit for extended periods of time periodically at a desk while working at a computer, and also be able to walk uneven or off-road terrain in all climates (hot, cold, wet, frozen, etc.).

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability, and physical demand to perform as a Field Supervisor. Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record with the ability to be insured under the Company’s insurance policy is required.
