Depends on market. Average installers make $1200 a week or more. Some markets have per diem and hotel compensation available. (please inquire)
Verifiable cable industry knowledge. Submit and pass a drug test and background. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Truck or SUV suitable for cable installations. Will entertain vetted corp. to corp. Industry standard insurances and work comp may be required, specific limits will vary from market to market.
Good customer relation skills. Tools such as ladder, meter and industry specific cable tools (meter assistance may be available)
- Educating Customers - Attention to cleanliness and appearance and on jobs - Ability to install or repair cable systems for high speed or digital services inside and outside of residential and commercial buildings - Be able to perform upgrades and downgrades - Knowledge of prewire and post wire installations - Drops, Outlets, converters, modems and other cable system devices - Meter use - Following Safety Practices
We currently have positions available for experienced Cable Technicians as well as those wanting to learn the trade. You can work in any of the following areas in our network; North Carolina, South Carolina, Virgina, and Florida. You will heed to have your own truck, van or SUV as well as be able to pass a background check and drug test.
