Qualifications
Must have 5+ years experience in coax splicing, forward & reverse activation, sweep, installation/activating power supplies, and troubleshooting. Copper and/or fiber splicing experience is a plus! Ability to read CATV, copper, and other field prints are required. The ability to change design on the go is very useful!
Other Requirements
Clean Driving Record, Must Pass Drug Screen, & Background Check. References and Driving Records will be Checked! The ability to maintain a positive work environment and communicate with engineers/customers is very important!
Job Description
Splicing/Activation of aerial and UG new build coax, replacements, pole transfers, re-routes, etc... Must be able to sweep and/or run a docsis on equipment upon completion of work. Design plant on the go and make changes as necessary is important! Night cuts as needed but are minimal. Installation and splicing of aerial and UG power supplies. Knowledge of both Aerial and UG construction is a must.
