Qualifications
Certain concessions will be made for groups with 7 and more members with there own truck. Good communication skills is a MUST. Pride in workmanship and full knowledge of industry products is MUST.
Other Requirements
Must have all tools truck ladders and meter. Must have all insurances.
Job Description
Must be experienced in all lines of the CATV industry. Video, HSD, Voice, commercial experience is helpful. Must be able to set up home computers with appropriate software or other technologies as defined by customer needs.
Other Requirements
Responsibilities include complete support of project management to include handling work that must be done manually or by the use of small power tools. Field work may include, but not be limited to, drilling, climbing and crawling in attics or basements. Stock truck(s) with material and equipment needed for each days work. Must have great craftsmanship and take pride in work.
Install cable TV, standard, HDTV, and DVR cable boxes and cable modems for high speed internet access VoIP installations may also be a part of the portfolio of skills and responsibilities. Ensures all project standards and procedures as required by customer are met. Performs New Connects, Reconnects, Disconnects, Additional outlets, installs and/or removes Converters. Performs upgrades and downgrades. Performs customer drop installations (exterior and interior) complete from Tap to TV location. Analyzes picture quality and judges acceptability of picture delivered following installation of cable service. Measures signal levels.
-Read a GPS while driving
-Be able to lift objects that weigh up to 75 pounds such as 6ft ladder, spools of cable, etc
