Pay scale ranges from $8.00 – $12.00 per tap faceplate replaced, no splicing or housing replacement involved. Work available 5 days a week. Crew should have their own personal tools. (PAY OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR FULL CONTRACTOR CREWS)
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license & one to three years of related work experience on Aerial CATV/Fiber Plant
Other Requirements
Must have climbing gear to gaff poles, must be able to carry a ladder for easement locations.
Job Description
Technicians shall be familiar with all day to day activities of aerial construction crew. Technicians must exhibit and uphold all safety values and keep worksite safe. Technicians must have a good working knowledge of all aspects of telecommunications aerial construction including: • Tap/Surge Gap Replacement • Drop repair, • EOL Readings, • Communication with customers • Must understand and uphold NESC code as well as all local and pole owner requirements • Individuals must be able to read prints and have knowledge of the aerial and underground process • Responsible for safe operation of all aerial bucket trucks and equipment.
