The person we're seeking must have 5 years experience splicing fiber. 2 years supervising other splicers also. Our immediate need is completing node splits so the more experience you have the better the salary you'll be paid. Having good analytical skills is a must for this position as well.

We need someone with a "safety first", determined attitude, along with a great work ethic. You must pass a drug test periodically and have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of modern splicing techniques, excellent organizational skills, the ability to supervise and oversee sub crews, and knowledge of aerial and underground construction is a plus.

Node splits are our top priority for the next 2 years in GA. The person hired for this position will focus on these until they slow and then we have normal fiber splicing to complete. Being sure the pathway is as needed for node splits and completing the node split as scheduled is the top priority of this position. Submitting the necessary paperwork, back-up, and pictures of before and after fiber splicing is completed are required.
