Job Description
BCS is seeking Contractors to complete Drop Bury Fiber Installation in the DFW area. Experience is preferred.
Seeking individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and customer service experience to perform drop buries of coax and fiber optic cable to homes. This position requires a large amount of hand digging with a shovel to create a trench for the fiber. This position also requires experience to complete bores under sidewalks, driveways, and streets.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Bury service lines minimum 6 " to 24 " depth with hand trenching when required. Mus also have drop plow and boring capabilities
• Read and understand existing underground facility locates
• Restore job site to the original condition
• Responsible for damages
• Review all requested and existing services with the customer before installation of new lines
• Bore experience
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Pass MVR, background and drug screen
• 1 year minimum experience
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work in team environment
