Job Description
PRG is seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team to lead cable and fiber construction projects. The position will manage the construction of fiber and coaxial cable plant by third-party contractors. Manager will put together Statements of Work (SOWs), assist in identifying permitting requirements, and Notice-To-Proceed (NTP) packages for contractors, coordinate and schedule construction jobs, troubleshoot construction issues on site as necessary, oversee a quality control (QC) program, review contractor billing, and provide weekly reporting to management on the project. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a fiber EPON build from Payson to Show Low Arizona. You will review designs, deploy construction crews and schedules, track project budgets and report day to day production. You will monitor all working contractors, review invoices and oversee the flow of work.
5-10 years in the telecommunications or cable industry or construction field
FTTH PM experience
Experience in utility and city permitting submittal and tracking
5+ years in outside plant construction, fiber-optic cabling. Power project experience a plus
Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good attitude a must
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition (to be determined by hiring manager)
Mileage reimbursement will be paid at the standard federal rate.
