Qualifications
5-10 years in the telecommunications or cable industry or construction field
5+ years in outside plant construction, fiber-optic cabling. Power project experience a plus
Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good attitude a must
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition
Job Description
PRG is seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Construction Project Manager to join our team to lead FTTH projects. The position will manage and oversee all aspects of sequential FTTH construction projects including but not limited to:
Construction by third-party contractors
Creation and distribution of SOW/NTP
Submittal and tracking of permitting documents
Scheduling of work to be performed in order to achieve client deadlines
Oversee QC process
Plant turn-up and activation
Invoicing Review/Approval
Detailed project status reporting
Communication with inventory controllers
Projection modeling
Construction by third-party contractors
