Qualifications
Experienced Aerial and Underground personnel. Preferred to have knowledge of Aerial GO 95 and Underground GO 128 rules. Must have a Valid California Drivers License with a good record.
Job Description
Aerial Construction
(1) Ability to safely clime utility poles
(2) Operate Aerial Lift trucks
(3) Able to read and understand underground construction plans, permits and traffic plans
(4) Ability to place support strand and complete pole transfers (GO 95)
(5) Place and lash Fiber Optic and other cables
(6) Place Anchors and Down Guys
(7) Create As-Builts and tracking paperwork for the completed work
Underground Construction
(1) Able to read and understand underground construction plans, permits and traffic plans
(2) Ability to mark, identify and understand underground utility markings (USA)
(3) Safely utilize equipment when Trenching / Boring or Hand digging in the vicinity of existing underground utility's
(4) Trench and or Bore in conduits and place Fiber Optic and other cables
(5) Install Pull Box's
(6) Remove and Replace Concrete and Asphalt sidewalks and streets
(7) Create As-Builts and tracking paperwork for the completed work
