ASAP we are looking to fill multiply underground crew positions
Pay
Operators 19.00 - 32.00 depending on qualifications experience. Locators 15.00 - 29.00 depending on qualifications experience, Laborers 15.00 - 22.00 depending on experience. All positions entitled to company benefits, and overtime when available.
Qualifications
All Positions: Read, Write, Understand, and Speak English. Be willing and able to report to work when scheduled, this includes having a valid drivers license and your own transportation to and from our facility, Reside in or willing to relocate to Boise Idaho area no relocation assistance will be provided. Submit a complete job application, pass a motor vehicle check and be insurable by our carrier, pass a background screening, and subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
Other Requirements
Prefer CDL Class A license with valid medical card, OSHA 10 or better course completion and certificate. Be able to follow our core values, The Customer is Always First
Job Description
All Positions:
Report to work on time ready willing and able to work when scheduled.
Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed safety procedure, company procedures, best practices and adheres to all customer, company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
Ensures the safety of the public, coworkers, and all utility operators and owners.
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others: managers, supervisors, co-workers, customer, and inspectors.
Ability and willingness to complete daily reporting, as-builds, job safety analysis, vehicle logs, and all records as required.
Setup and cleanup of work site including traffic and pedestrian control.
Operates vehicle and construction equipment as required, with proper training and certification
Responsible for the security of company equipment form vandals and thieves, taking all required steps to secure.
Horizontal Drill Operators:
2 years or more of experience, team leader
Competent person certification for underground work
CDL license highly recommended and maintained
Operates HDD equipment for installation of underground utilities
Operates HDD equipment to facilitate completing daily tasks as required.
Performs proper maintenance as required including greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs
Able to follow work prints locates and local operations to complete the job as safely and timely as possible.
Equipment Operators:
2 years or more of experience
Competent person certification for underground work
CDL license highly recommended and maintained
Operates; excavators, vac's, skid steer, backhoe, loaders and other equipment required for installation of underground utilities
Performs proper maintenance as required including greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs
Able to follow work prints locates and local operations to complete the job as safely and timely as possible
Horizontal Drill Locators:
2 years or more of experience, able to follow direction
CDL license highly recommended and maintained
Operates HDD locate equipment ensuring pathway and utility clearances, completing reporting in real time.
Operates shovel and probe when required be part of the team to complete production
Performs proper maintenance and calibration as required on tools and equipment
Able to follow work prints locates and local operations to complete the job as safely and timely as possible.
Laborers/Flaggers:
Assist all crew in completing daily tasks
Be able to follow directions and lead of project lead
These positions are physically demanding requiring manual labor use of hand tools; shovels, saws, picks, digging bars, tampers
Lifting bending movement of materials and equipment
Flagging certification as required
MOT training
