We are seeking Field Walkout/Survey Technicians who will provide a detailed route from the existing plant to the customer defining all construction requirements for the proposed route. This position is responsible for performing commercial walkout surveys to provide new service to end user and ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. Commercial Survey experience is a must!
Responsibilities
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of the fielding process in CATV asbuilt and new build walkouts.
• Knowledge of cable design and basic CATV construction practices.
• Ability to read and understand maps.
• Strong analytical, observational, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies.
• Perform field walkout assignments on a daily basis over varying terrain and in all weather conditions.
• Must have strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software and technologies.
• Must be highly responsible and self-motivated.
Additional Information
• This is a full-time, production-based, position.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Company vehicle and necessary tools will be provided.
• Hotel expenses paid for in-house employees.
• Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, & PDF Editor.
• Must have flexibility and willingness to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
