Work will start once the background process is complete. We currently work with Crimshield for all background services.
Pay
Technicians are paid on piece rate. We are currently offering a $1000 sign on bonus for experienced technicians who meet performance metrics, with a probationary period of 90 days, and paid training per day.
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License, must be able to operate out of own truck or van, pass a drug and background screen, experience of 6 months of cable experience is preferred, knowledge Penguin Data Workforce database is preferred, and knowledge of Viavi ONX is preferred.
Other Requirements
Provide own vehicle (must be able to hold a 28 ft. ladder), have own equipment to do the job efficiently (we also offer tools through our tool repayment program), Viavi meters are required but will be available for lease or purchase through our tool repayment program, be able to work in all weather conditions and be required to climb heights. Technician will also be required to provide all required insurance.
Job Description
We are looking to hire reliable, qualified and organized technicians to install, maintain, and repair residential services such as television, phone, and internet at single family homes, town homes, and apartments.
To ensure success as a Cable Technician, you should have a knowledge of electrical systems, home entertainment, and cable technology. You will be required to enter the customer's crawl space of their home, basements, and attics. You will also need to be able to work on ladders and poles as needed. Customer interaction will need to be in a friendly and professional manner. We strive on Customer satisfaction, and we hold our technicians to a high standard in providing efficient, high quality services.
The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure, testing newly installed or relocated cables according to company satisfactions, trouble shooting issues with cable network, etc. We are currently working in the Lexington area and surrounding counties (Richmond, Nicholasville, Winchester, And Versailles).
We are also following all COVID-19 guidelines by taking appropriate measures to ensure everyone's safety. PPE is provided, such as masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and gloves.
