Pay
$100/Hr for Splicer and Helper, $200 a day per diem for the 2 man team. They are guaranteeing 12 hours a day for now, not sure how long this will last. Pay is Net 12 from approved invoice.
Qualifications
Need to be experienced Fiber Splicer and proficient with an OTDR. Preferably have storm, emergency, troubleshooting experience. Also need to be a 2 man team for this rate, Can be just a Spouse / Helper.
Other Requirements
Must have Fiber Identifier, Bucket, Splice lab, OTDR, Fusion Splicer, Safety Gear and Cones.
Job Description
We are working as part of hurricane Laura Storm recovery team, at this time we are seeking Fiber Splicers and Aerial Crews (See that Ad). They are guaranteeing 12 hour days and we are paying out $100/hr for Splicer and helper combo and $200 per diem for the 2 man team. Must be proficient with an OTDR as the crews we currently have onsite are shooting out from the 30 Cell Towers that are down and moving to fix the break and continuing on. Must be proficient with troubleshooting.
