Looking for a career minded individual to serve as a construction foreman. This labor-intensive position is responsible for tracking projects and their progression, supervising and working with multiple aerial and underground construction crews and directing their activities. The successful candidate will have working knowledge in both aerial and underground construction techniques, procedures and requirements. This person will need to have some experience in the operation of construction equipment such as a bucket truck, lashers, vibratory plow, backhoe, mini excavator, directional bore rig, fiber blowers and assist wheels. Must be well versed in maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring proper operation and maintenance of equipment and tools, incorporating proper traffic control procedures maintaining a clean and organized jobsite and wearing appropriate PPE. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Preferred experience:
5+ years’ experience in aerial and underground construction to support telecommunications
