Triwire Engineering Solutions, an industry leader in telecommunications installation, is searching for a Fiber Technician in the Westfield, MA area!
With over twenty years of experience, TriWire Engineering offers the best industry paid training program! Fiber offers faster speeds and easier installs without the need to balance the connection and splitters. TriWire Engineering recently secured a contract to be the largest Fiber installer in the New England area. Duties and Responsibilities
• Install and repair Fiber for TV, high-speed data, and digital services both inside & outside of residential and commercial sites
• Perform site surveys and perform upgrades, wiring, and multi-dwelling installations
• Identity technical issues while troubleshooting equipment and determining cable signal
• Provide excellent customer service while educating customers and promoting products & services
• Maintain, secure, and account for equipment inventories, preparing regular, accurate, legible, and timely cable system records
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum of three (3) years of cable technician experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to Pass a background check and drug screen
• Energetic, resourceful, and strong multi-tasking skills with a desire to learn and grow in a new career
• Basic Computer skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekend, and holidays
• Ability to lift over 80 lbs, climb and stand on 28-foot extension ladders for long periods of time, work in confined spaces and in all climates
