Construction Project Coordinator

10+ years cable construction environment, including at least five years in management experience. Must have verifiable Outside Plant Build experience to apply. Preferred BS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience. Must be experienced in all facets of Overhead and Underground construction placement.

Other Requirements

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. • Must be expert in the area of construction drawing preparation, transmission design, fieldwork and estimates with complete related work order documentation. • Must possess expertise in planning, cost-studies, central office, fiber optics, right-of-way negotiation and easement execution. • Knowledge of National Electric Codes related to plant construction, maintenance, materials and design is desired.

Job Description

We are expanding in North Florida and Georgia and looking for the right candidate to join out team. Hiring Construction Manager to oversee fiber operations for communications construction company. Responsible for inhouse and subcontractor crews. Must pass background and drug screen. Responsible for complete project management of new build and rebuild construction projects and expenditures.

Prepares for approval all capital projects and expenses, maintaining proper documentation for each project and capital account Generates monthly reports as necessary.
Responsible for construction maintenance and new construction; assures compliance with clients standards.
Assures that policies and procedures are effectively implemented by managed personnel • Assures compliance of construction requirements with all franchises.
Assists with the preparation of the capital and operating budgets; assures proper use of capital expenditures; monitors material status of all projects.
Interviews, hires, develop, evaluate disciplines and terminate assigned personnel.
Coordinate project implementation and management tasks. Be present on-site for project meetings both to insure effective initial planning and on-going review.
Review construction project proposals or plans to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
Maintain all project plans, organization and resources to deliver the respective solutions and services.
Responsible for schedules for meetings, budgets and communicating status with management.
