Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in FTTH/GPON fiber splicing with different size FOC. Knowledge and experience in OTDR and power meter testing. Must be able to read maps and fiber splicing diagrams.
Other Requirements
Must have a valid driver license, pass a 12 point drug test and background check
Job Description
-Splicing different count of fiber optic cables which includes both loose tube and ribbon cables.
-Construct a proper splice case.
-Prepare and maintain splicing records, schematics, and diagrams.
-Perform work in accordance with industry and customer standards.
-Good work ethics and dependable qualities
-Properly drive a vehicle and maintain good driving record
-OTDR and power meter testing
-OSP and ISP work environment
-Daily company reports
-Maintain a clean work environment
-properly organize splice enclosures
-Maintain good field communications with central office
-Follow work orders
