Looking for sub contractors or W2 employees. New build and over lash, bottom strand. Nothing bigger than 48ct fiber. Material is already sitting in our office. Start immediately. We are the prime contractor.

Powerhouse Communications, LLC is currently seeking experienced and talented linemen to join our team. We’re a 100% service disabled veteran owned company and are focused on growing our organization!

Experience as a lineman is preferred, but we will train the right person.

Travel is required for this position - Most travel may be overnight. Full medical, dental, & vision benefits available after 90 days of employment.


Lead Lineman will run a bucket truck and ensure project goals are met.
The Lead Lineman will supervise other linemen and ground men and make sure all safety policies and procedures are met.
Hang fiber optic cable and strand, coax, copper cables on poles.
Ability to safely operate a boom truck, placing and removing poles, climb poles as needed, and utilize standard tools of the trade.
Set up traffic control signs and cones and direct traffic as needed.
Close a project by completing daily production sheets, verifying proper levels after activation, and adjust and troubleshoot as necessary
Flexibility to work across all divisions (underground, fiber, coax)
Use a computer or tablet daily to log production and other necessary data.
Willing to work outside in varying weather conditions


Experience in aerial coax and fiber construction is preferred
Class A or B commercial driver’s license preferred but not required
Proficient in new build, splicing, fiber installation, and pole transfers
Knowledge in building strand, lashing/over lashing, pole transfers, vertical grounds, and building and repairing aerial telecommunication transmission lines.
Ability to lift or pull up to 75 pounds
