Qualifications
• The General Forman/Superintendent manages Foremen responsible for assigned construction activities and typically supervises 2-5 General Foremen, while contributing to the continuous improvement of methodology, tools and approaches using fundamentals of H&M Project Management practices.

Job Description
Required Skills:
• Understanding of construction and utility industry practices, processes, and standards
• Experience with aerial and outside plant telecommunication construction
• Advanced technical knowledge within assigned construction specialty
• Exposure to industry relevant software
• Moderately complex problem-solving skills
• Operate construction equipment
• Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks
• Can hook and climb poles successfully, assemble stock I.E. snowshoes
• Can build strand, load a lasher, lash cable and fiber and be able to do all basic pole transfers
• Install poles and place wires or cables
• Place aerial fiber cable
• String and maintain wire (Pulling, Fiber Splicing, Lashing, Stranding )
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair overhead fiber lines
• Understanding of separation and clearance regulations
• Utilize standard telecommunications tools
• Access various installation points
• Access construction points as required
• Read and interpret engineering plans
• Keep a detailed record of work activity
Minimum Educational Background:
Specialized training in aerial construction or equivalent work experience
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:
10+ years of experience as aerial Forman
