• Five (+) years of experience in a lead role. Construction management, project management, project controls, or project (field) engineering. Five (+) years in telecom construction for fiber optic cable installation in both aerial and underground environments

Job Description
• Serve as main point-of-contact by establishing, maintaining and managing subcontractor, and joint venture partner's expectations (where applicable) relating to project performance.
• Report project status and performance data as required to management, project sponsors and other stakeholders. .
• Ensure strict adherence to all H&M Safety Policies, Procedures and Practices.
• Plan, monitor, and control the project execution throughout its life cycle (construction, and close out).
• Support schedule detail input with project controls team. Coordination and implementation of schedule with construction team.
Responsible for meeting schedule commitments.
• Review design and specification documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare reports as required by customers and/or management.
• Lead role in the optimization of construction practices, constructability reviews and tracking.
• Understand and assist in the development of project scope and estimates.
• Understanding of construction cost and tracking systems that incorporate earned value management principles associated with cost, labor, equipment, material, subcontractors, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and Safety programs including implementation, auditing, site evaluation, and coaching.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Five (+) years of experience in a lead role. Construction management, project management, project controls, or project (field) engineering. Five (+) years in telecom.
• Very detail oriented and skilled at multi-tasking to complete several deadlines accurately and on time.
• Good understanding of computer related software for tracking, reporting, and cost evaluation.
• Ability to travel as necessary and on extended assignments to facilitate the implementation of the project management program.
• Ability to communicate well, including sound written and oral communication skills.
