Job Description
We are currently seeking Aerial Lineman to work in Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities
- Climb poles with ability to safely use ladders
- Operate construction equipment and machinery
- Operate hydraulic aerial lifts and ladders mounted to trucks
- Install poles and place wires or cables
- Place aerial coax and fiber cable
- String and maintain wire (Pulling, Fiber Splicing, Clipping, Stranding & Spacing Line)
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair overhead fiber lines
- Understanding of separation and clearance regulations
- Utilize standard telecommunications tools
- Access various installation points
- Access construction points as required
- Read and interpret engineering plans
- Keep detailed record of work activity
- Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds
Qualifications
- 1 year of Aerial Lineman, telecommunications experience preferred
- Candidate must be able to perform all duties in Utility construction
- Proficient in new build, coax & fiber installation and pole transfers
- Interpret engineering work plans
- Must be able to work at heights of 20+’ feet
- Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout work shift
- Lineman, Power or Telecom Trade School a plus
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent
