Qualifications
Responsibilities for Locator position include correct, safe and efficient locating of underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas , water and sewer systems. Must pass Pre-employment Drug/Alcohol testing and hold a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
Other Requirements
Previous experience with locating underground utilities with various locating equipment a must.
Job Description
Work outdoors in various weather conditions, confined spaces, lift up to 50 LBS, available to work overtime and weekends but weekends are rarely needed. Company vehicle provided and all work related expenses are paid by TDI. Laptop and locating equipment is provided by TDI. Some travel is required with Per-diem for hotel and a $30 a day meal allowance when traveling. IOWA position has very little traveling required.
