Minimum 5 years as a Field Engineer

Must be able to support gathering of Field Data for the following Items:
Aerial and UG Mapping
• Route footage (pole to pole/point to point)
• Pole usage (joint, etc.)
• Pole Ownership
• Anchors and guys
• Pole types and Pole usage (Riser, Transformer, etc…)
• GPS points of each pole
• Pole Number
• Gathering of Residential and Commercial addresses
Utility Mapping
• Gathering of all utility information if required
• Ability to research in a city office and get the utility plans
Pole Profiles (with measurements)
• Measure and record all attachments at pole and mid-span (neutral and below)
• Pole class and height
• Pole Number
• Mid span Heights
• Comm heights and owner

Make Ready Engineering (light make ready analysis not full Ocalc)
• Determine electrical and/or communications adjustments to make room for new attachment.
• Complete power company pole application.
• Complete pole application.

Must possess a working knowledge of DOT, Railroad and Traffic Control in the state of Texas with the ability together info if required.
