From engineering to construction to testing to installation, from one installer to complete turnkey, no project is too large or too small.
We are searching for an experienced Horizontal Directional Drill Manager with strong construction and operator/locater backgrounds to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
· Mentor and manage multiple directional drill crews, mini crews and vac crews
· Assist in the education of safety and instilling a safe culture
· Project scheduling and tracking
· Productivity monitoring and adjusting
· Growth of Bore Department
· Insuring company policies, OSHA standards and Municipal Ordinances are adhered to
· Project estimation/costing
Qualifications:
· Safety Oriented
· Valid driver’s license – CDL preferred
· Knowledge and understanding of directional drill operation (hands on experience preferred)
· Knowledge and understanding of directional drill locater (hands on experience preferred)
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in directional drilling and management
· Minimum of 10 year of experience in similar construction practices
· Passionate and dedicated to meeting company goals and expectations
· Reliability
· Values quality as much as quantity
· Bi-lingual preferred (NOT A MUST)
Skills:
· Management
· Microsoft Office – Along with the ability to use a computer efficiently
· Adapts to new problems and situations
· Pursues everything with energy and drive
· Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions
· Listens and is able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, ROW Inspectors and the general public
· Project Estimating/Costing
· Knowledge and understanding of bore chemical mixture requirements and soil conditions
Physical Requirements:
· The ability to lift 75 lbs.
· The ability to work outdoors in a diverse environment.
· Must be able to work on feet all day
Education:
· High School Diploma (Or equivalent)
