Experience as a Directional Drill Locator(REQUIRED), Valid driver's license (REQUIRED; CDL preferred).
Job Description
The current position we are actively looking to fill is Directional Drill Locator. It is important to us that we find someone who is a leader and able to work well with others. As a crew leader, we expect our Directional Drill Locator to confidently direct their team while motivating them to efficiently and safely complete projects.
Responsibilities for a Directional Drill Locator:
Read and understand prints and maps; track progress on projects
Operation of Ditch Witch and DCI locating equipment
Pothole existing utilities by hand, with vac-tron, and/or a mini-excavator
Ability to walk out job with drill operator to confirm running lines.
Ability to navigate bore head through normal areas and high risk areas
Work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year
Direct traffic flow in accordance with local D.O.T. guidelines
