Qualifications
Looking for fiber techs or experienced low-voltage techs. Techs previously trained in Cable, Satelite, Phone, or Alarm. We are willing to train the right candidate. If you have a strong work ethic and take pride in the product you leave the customer you will have a chance to succeed with our team.
Other Requirements
It is good to have your own hand tools and ladders but we are able to assist if needed. Splicer and vehicle options are available.
Job Description
We are installing fiber to the home (FTTH) for a new internet provider based in Lexington, Kentucky- Metronet. Our team is looking to hire experienced triple play techs to convert over into FTTH techs. We can give the right candidate an opportunity to train as long as they are ready to learn and take pride in their work. This is a way for you to build your experience and move on from the cable company while making good money.
This is an easy transfer for EXPERIENCED VETERAN TECHS with Business Class/ Commercial/ SMB experience or if you have a good understanding of data, phone, or networking you will pick this up quickly. The outlets for the CPE are over data or paired wirelessly after the final splice point. The orders are managed well and the CPE is updated, provisions when added to the account, and makes the install go so much smoother. No more one-hour time frames or multiple video box installs for the same price. We are able to use stackable codes for the drop, drop difficulty and even multiple receivers or new outlets.
