Qualifications
Must have experience in underground construction and monitoring crews. Must ensure, to customer standards, safety compliance of crews. Must be able to communicate well with our customer supervisors and the public. Drivers license a must. Must be able to check crews workmanship daily and written or emailed documentation of this is required. This position will report to the Superintendent/Project Manager on site.
Other Requirements
A background in management of some kind is a plus. You must be able to move vault/hand hole lids for inspection purposes. You will also be measuring depth of conduit with provided tools. We are looking for some one who is well spoken and can address QC and public concerns in a professional manner. If you prefer this to be a contract position hand tools and a vehicle will be required. accurately. This person may be required to do many things in support of these projects
Job Description
Quality Control Technician and Management Support are the main duties in this position. Training and forms will be supplied to this person. This position will require checking on crews and QC'ing of plant being built. Monitoring of dailies accuracy and construction as builts/red lines will be part of this positions duties/
