Qualifications
Need to have a working knowledge of aerial and underground experience, or a combination of both. Previous Foreman experience. Ability to read blueprints. Experience with Heavy Equipment Operating is a plus!
Other Requirements
Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Company vehicle will be provided.
Job Description
Position is open due to increased work load with fiber companies doing upgrade projects - recently won a large contract with AT&T.
The foreman manages crew members so that utility construction is completed in an orderly, timely and cost-effective fashion. When necessary, he/she operates equipment or performs production activities to complete installation of utilities. This position will be based primarily out in the field on active job sites. Must be comfortable being out in different weather conditions. There are a lot of moving pieces and needs to have a high level of awareness at all times. Will need to complete all required submittals accurately, completely and on time so as to not require questioning or prompting by the accounting office. Will be supervising crews of 7 people.
