Pay
Pay depends solely on the experience that the applicant has that matches up to our requirements.
Qualifications
Must have a clean background check and open to travel throughout the Continental US OR relocate to the Washington D.C region. Knowledge of: splicing fiber, CAT 6, control wiring and CCTV installation. Upon acceptance of the Job Offer, applicant must commit to 90 days on the job.

Required dress: Khaki/Cargo Pants, Polo Shirt - navy or black and steel-toe boots. Must have or purchase the tools required: 11-in-1, Tape Measure, Screw Drivers, Channel Locks, Flashlight, Knee Pads, Tips for Impact, Nut Drivers, Bullet Level (small), Tool Pouch or Bag, RJ45 EZ Crimpers, Dewalt or Milwakee Impact Drill (large or small) and a Sawzall

We are a busy construction firm and are always hiring dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, load and unload frequently heavy materials, and follow directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker.

Desired Education and Experience:
Requires a HS diploma or GED
Requires a Valid driver's license
4 to 6 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
Essential Job Functions:
Install and maintain electronic security systems
Participate in review of design documentation and system data to plan and execute installation and maintenance activities
Execute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations
Complete high quality device and component installation activities and maintenance activities
Participate in configuration of servers, workstations, panels and other programmable components
Execute testing to verify high quality installations
Execute testing to identify and correct system problems at component and system levels as part of system sustainment activities
Install system raceway
Install system cabling
Terminate and test system cabling and all components
Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels and all mounting hardware components
Meet all attendance requirements and working hours of the assignment
Communicate effectively with supervisors
Communicate effectively with subordinates
Incorporate, follow and reinforce all required safety practices at all times
Complete detailed and accurate as-built, testing, and quality control documentation
Participate in logistics planning for personnel and equipment
Perform as a reliable contact for field operations with the customer representatives
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Software House CCURE, Verint, MDI, AMAG Symmetry, Bosch BVMS, FFT, Honeywell Video & Vindicator, and Proximex certifications and experience in installation of said systems.
Attention to detail in the execution of Performance Verification Tests
Troubleshoot and Repair electronic security systems as well as perform regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance
Strong communication and writing skills
Open to travel throughout the Continental US
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
Formal Electronics Training as follows:
Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
Must be eligible for a DoD security clearance, candidates with an active clearance preferred
