Job Description
SUBCONTRACTORS NEEDED FOR AERIAL AND BURIED OSP CONSTRUCTION AND SERVICE LINE INSTALLATIONS
GW Communications is looking for qualified outside plant telecom construction crews, ISP crews, drop crews, and fiber splicing crews in the Hartford and Norwich CT areas. If you are the principal of a contract company and interested in telecom construction and aerial/buried drop placement in these regions, we may have an opportunity for you.
OSP Construction: underground construction including directional drilling, cable placement, hand hole placement, and conduit proofing. Aerial construction including fiber placement, etc.
ISP Construction: including core drill to building, ISP cabling, mounting racks & panels, proof existing ISP conduit, and install EMT
Splicers: splicers capable of splicing loose tube and ribbon fiber (aerial and underground) and produce bi-directional OTDR test results at , capable of troubleshooting network.
This is a long-term, on-going project that is scheduled to kick off in September 2019, so work is available soon. As a Subcontractor, you must provide your own tools and equipment and meet insurance requirements. There is opportunity for both aerial and underground drops crews.
