Qualifications
Must have an understanding of Cable TV construction principles, installation methods and practices. Ability to hand draw sketches in the field. knowledge of National Electric code for Communications. Proficient in with computers, and smart phones as well as Google Earth and maps.
Other Requirements
Good transportation (fuel economy is best truck not needed) Must pass drug and criminal back ground, tools such as Wheel, range finder and pole stick however we can help with tools if needed.
Job Description
Preforms Cable TV / Fiber site surveys and walkouts for both commercial or residential. completes daily task to obtain work and send completed work, requires hand sketch and possible Google or Power point drawings. Will be preform permit drawings, both local township and State. shall also preform pole profiling and make ready assessments. knowledge of prints and how to obtain GPS coordinates as needed.
Must be able to understand both As-built and Strand mapping.
