Job Description

The Field Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day field operations for his/her assigned team of technicians. Some of the core responsibilities include managing route efficiencies, mentoring & up-training field technicians, maintaining metrics for assigned team, training and employee development. The Field Supervisors are expected to uphold principles including integrity, quality, teamwork, a good attitude and customer experience at all times.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following tasks:
•Supervising field technicians and other individuals or groups as determined by local management.
•Developing and promoting a team atmosphere and ensuring the proper support is provided to each technician within the operation.
• Help to uphold the number of routes that are required, may have to run a route if needed.
•Managing day-to-day field operations, communicating with other members of local support, resolving issues and ensuring all technicians are out of the field in a timey manner.
•Supervising and investigating customer complaints and damages. This includes contacting the customer, responding to emails, resolving issue and if necessary working with general contractor on repairs.
•Ensuring that all members are in compliance with all field related performance metrics.
•Enforce safety practices are being followed. Immediate training and corrective action will need to be taken with the technician if not followed.
•Will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing training of all install technicians. This includes training of new services, improving efficiencies, up-training on existing products and services and etc. Continued training is an important factor for success in the market. All technicians must be knowledgeable on new and existing products.

Requirements:
•High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
•A minimum of 2 year cable or related industry experience required.
•Previous leadership experience in cable or related industry.
•Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, web-based applications, and email)
•Ability to prioritize and organize and multi-task effectively.
•Must present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients in all interactions.
