Qualifications

Machinery must be in good working order and free of major leaks. Must have experience in pulling/placing multiple conduits. Must have COI and experienced crew members. Operator/locator experience required. General knowledge of engineering prints a must. Crews must adhere to safety standards and quality workmanship

Other Requirements

Foreman/staff must be able to fill out dailies and construction as builts/ red lines in a legible manner. Signs, hard hats, cones, etc.. are required. Qualified crews also will need to be able to call in own locates/white line, know all utility paint identification, and work in a professional manner.

Job Description

Multiple job sites and work at each vary.
INDIANA: plow work along route 70. We have 60 miles in hand. Plow must be capable of placing 4 conduits so machine must be of some size. Vaults/hand holes are also being placed every 1200 feet or as maps dictate. 36-42 inches of cover.
NORTH CAROLINA: Mainly directional drill work placing multiple conduits at 36 inches of cover. Vaults and hand holes are being placed. This construction is perfect for Vermeer 20/22's, 16/20s, and 23/30's. Ditch With comparable in size such as 20/20, JT-20, JT-25, etc... Work here is of the long haul variety. We have 50 miles in hand and a total of 100 miles going from the central part of the state into Virginia along state routes. Mainly rural work with 2 towns involved. OHIO: Directional Drill work in the Columbus suburbs pulling back 2 conduits at 36 inches of cover. Vaults/HH's dictated by schematics. Approximately 150 miles of conduit to place yet. Work is not in Columbus proper but in suburbs such as Dublin and Westerville. Ground is good. Adherence to safety and quality workmanship is a must.
SOUTH CAROLINA: Sporadic "project work" that is all directional drill work. Projects from 1500 to 20000 feet.
VIRGINIA: Construction work is the same as North Carolina and part of that build. Occasional sporadic work with other customers around the state but mainly south and central and near Richmond.
All projects have own price lists. All pricing is ala carte. Ohio and North Carolina work will last approximately 8 months to a year.
