Job Description
SUMMARY:
Perform Standby Power Supply maintenance across Central and eastern US.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install or replace modem and confirm connectivity to the NOC
Install or replace transponder and confirm accurate alarm reporting
Inspect cabinet integrity and security
Inspect grounding
Log all operating conditions
Inspect and replace batteries if necessary
Aerial and underground power supplies
Travel likely required
Reports to Field OPS Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with CATV power supplies and inverters
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills required: Inventory Software; Microsoft Office; phone-based apps, web and IP based hardware troubleshooting/programming
