Job Description and Responsibilities :

This position is responsible for the oversight of the Google invoicing and billing process as well as the management and administration of scheduling and reporting via P6.


Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the supervision of a team of Project Controls Coordinators, including but not limited to; training, planning, directing, and scheduling

Oversight of the final P6 invoice reconciliation process

Develop and provide leadership to maintain detailed project schedules and monitor deliverables

The reporting of cost and progress information to operations and the verification and monitoring of construction activities

Provide financial forecast updates, budget variance reports, and produce quality and timely metrics and progress reports

Utilize P6 tools and templates and expertise to provide custom reporting, IT automations, templates, and structured project schedules for complex projects and proposals

Other duties as assigned



Requirements :


Education:

College degree plus 3-5 years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


Experience:

2-3 years billing and invoicing

2-3 years in the construction industry

Preferred Accounting or Finance education and/or background

Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques preferred


Technical Skills:

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Proficient with Google Documents a plus

Knowledge and Proficiency in Oracle P6 a plus


Soft Skills:

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

Highly organized and detail orientated

Above average scheduling and time management skills

Ability to teach, motivate, and lead others

Strong financial understanding; ability to interpret project financial indicators and use them as part of the decision making process

Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Above average analytical skills


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions

Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day

Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day

Some travel may be required
