Job Description
We are a telecommunications company based out of the Midwest, but we work nationwide, and contract out for telecommunications installations ranging from CATV only installs to full cable, internet (broadband) and phone, as well as fiber splicing.
Preferred Qualifications
* Provide onsite support to customer base.
* Install, operate, modify and repair phone systems and data equipment.
* Install telephone endpoints and peripherals.
* Be onsite at customer premises for cutover and follow up.
* Wireless radio installation and Power over Ethernet experience preferred.
* Experience troubleshooting all phone applications.
* Experience with Basic Network Device Installation and Configuration.
* Resolve and troubleshoot issues if/as they are presented during the cutover process.
* Experience installing ONT’s, Routers, and other data devices.
* Establishes voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and toning cables; installing telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, and other ancillary devices.
* Willingness to work within a team environment, yet capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Must own your own basic telecom tools.
* Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and reference check.
* Reliable vehicle and valid driver license.
* Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
* Experienced in hanging aerial fiber drops
Salary will be commensurate with applicable skills sets, certification(s) and experience.
Travel is required. Work is all over the United States depending on projects.
