Qualifications
Preferred candidate will have experience successfully supervising multiple crews performing underground and aerial construction of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant, understand telecommunications distribution design plans and maps, and communicate well with all levels of industry and customer personnel. Bi-Lingual candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Other Requirements
Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to used basic computer software such as Microsoft Office products and system design map reader software. Must pass customer required background and drug test.
Job Description
The OSP Construction Supervisor will supervise multiple cable construction crews performing underground bury cable installation, underground conduit/manhole system cable pulls, and aerial strand and cable construction activities. Additional responsibilities will include field supervision, quality control inspection, equipment and company asset management, customer and site personnel coordination, crew scheduling, project production tracking, completion and status reporting, and participate in regularly scheduled meetings and related conference calls.
