Job Description
Requirements for Cable Installation Technician - Contractor:
• 1-2 years experience as a Cable Installation Technician Subcontractor Preferred, will train the right person
• Pass a background check and drug test
• Own a work ready and presentable Pick Up Truck, SUV, or lease a Bear transit
• Be able to independently manage day-to-day functions as a Cable Installation Technician
• Must have a current Driver’s License with no major violations (DUI, Fines in last 5 yrs.)
• Able to provide General Liability insurance

• Potential earning $1,500 to $2,000 a week
• Paid Weekly
• No cap on earnings

Responsibilities
• Install voice, data, internet and security cable; terminate cables and Coax connectors
• GPON and Handheld Fusion Splicer, Wire wrapping, labeling and pulling cable
• Performs upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations
• Educates customers regarding their existing and new services and promote Client’s other services Installs drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable devices
• Measures, records and determines cable signals
• Completes paperwork accurately, reports and records work order status updates
• Prepares for daily work assignment by requisitioning equipment and supplies from warehouse and stocking vehicle as needed
